Early cancer diagnosis saves lives

I vividly remember the day that my daughter’s friends, Grace, was diagnosed with cancer. She had just turned 10 and it came as a shock to everyone when her mom called me the day after Halloween wondering if I could bring Gianna to visit her at CHOP, Philadelphia. We were initially confounded, how could things go so wrong all of a sudden? Grace had been trick or treating with us just the day before! We soon found out that she had neuroblastoma, which came as a crippling shock to both the child and her family.

No one has to suffer through this. More importantly, no one deserves to go through this alone. I wish I’d known Lynnette and Cancer Guardian back then, I truly do. Can you imagine how different things would have been if Grace’s parents had had their employee benefits to cover their cancer diagnosis and treatment? The child could’ve been put on the path to recovery much earlier and the family saved a fortune of energy, time, and money.

When I first came across Cancer Guardian, I knew right away that I wouldn’t have to watch another Grace and family be ravaged by the mental, physical and financial repercussions of cancer. And I haven’t had to. In the time that I’ve been associated with Cancer Guardian, I have helped hundreds of employers make sure that their workforce is adequately protected from cancer.

You too can join me as an employer in making sure your employees sleep peacefully at night, knowing that they have one less thing to worry about. All you have to do is schedule a meeting with using my contact form and I’ll walk you through the rest.
